All because you have a large family of five or six people doesn’t mean you’re condemned to drive a minivan or sport utility vehicle. Many of today’s 2016 model pickup trucks will comfortably seat a six person family and haul all the gear that comes with them in the cargo area.
Many of the available full-size trucks on the market come with an optional bench seat in the front, allowing seating for three, and have just as much head and leg room as many of the larger sedans.
Double-cab or crew-cab models come with additional rear seating for three more passengers, for a total of six. Many of the crew-cab model full-size pickups have more than enough room to stretch out. With competition so strong in the market place, many manufacture’s are packing family style features and benefits inside the most popular trucks on the road.
Both Chevrolet’s 2016 double-cab and crew-cab Silverado will fit a family of six comfortably. The Silverado has 42.8 inches of headroom and 45.3 inches of legroom up front. The rear crew-cab portion adds 40.5 inches and 40.9 in the rear. The double-cab is a little smaller with38.7 inches and 34.6 inches in the rear. There are many features that come with the Chevy Silverado, GM Safety Alert Seat, Wi-Fi hotspot, 4G LTE connectivity, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, premium Bose audio and BluRay entertainment system to name a few. If you want to buy a truck for a large family, make sure you put the full-size Silverado on your shopping list.
Number six on the list is the 2016 Nissan Titan, bigger than the full-size XD model, equipped with a Cummins turbo-diesel V8 with 555 lb-ft torque and able to tow over 12,300 pounds. The front passengers in the Titan crew-cab owners will enjoy 41 inches of headroom with 41.8 inches of legroom to stretch out your legs. Rear passenger will have 40.4 inches of headroom in the rear and 38.5 inches of legroom in the back. The Titan and Titan XD will have a double-cab configuration also, but the exact measurements have not been released.

Competition Always Gets You the Lowest New Car Price
Read my section on how to figure what a dealer paid for a car before ever stepping foot inside a dealership. Knowing this information will guarantee you pay the lowest new car price and avoid overpaying for your next new car.
When negotiating a new trucks price, it’s important to know the dealer invoice price and what other people are paying for the same vehicle in your local area. Otherwise, you won’t know what’s a good price to pay for the car.
As always, I highly recommend using an online referral service such as Ryde Shopper or Motor Trend, their quotes will automatically include any discounts or cash-back incentives currently available in the marketplace.
