Most Loved New Cars for 2015 By Vehicle Segment
Have you ever heard someone say they were in love with their car? You may have thought they were just making a statement, but a new study may prove they’re being absolutely truthful.
A company in Sand Diego by the name of Strategic Vision surveyed more than 44,000 new car owners in their first ever “Consumer Love Index.” They wanted to find out which new cars owners adored the most in each vehicle segment.
The companies press release about the survey states, “reveals which vehicles are doing the best at creating love, and shows why they can be more successful than their competition.”
Overall, younger buyers entering in the marketplace tend to love their vehicles the most. These buyers typically buy subcompacts and compact hatchbacks. When selecting their new car, they’re looking more towards a cheaper price point than breaking the bank. Once they select a vehicle and take ownership, they’re more likely to take care of the vehicle over the long haul.
Older buyers tend to love the convertible sports cars and high-end luxury models, mostly because they’re later in life and rewarding themselves for their years of hard work.
Asian and European automakers have done well on the “Consumer Love Index.” They’ve scored the highest among the vehicle segments with the deepest competition. These include the most economically sensitive categories and the deepest emotional connections among luxury owners.
Competition Always Gets You the Best Price
When negotiating a new car lease, it’s important to know the dealer invoice price and what other people are paying for the same vehicle in your local area. Otherwise, you won’t know what’s a good price to pay for the vehicle. I highly recommend using an online referral service such as Ryde Shopper or Motor Trend, their quotes will automatically include any discounts or cash-back incentives currently available in the marketplace.
In addition, the above sites will tell you which dealerships in your local area are currently the most flexible with their new car pricing. These sites provide valuable information for anyone thinking about buying or leasing a new car or truck.
