Non injury car accident.

Best New Cars of 2015 that can Save Your Life

Did you know during a typical day in the United States there are 14,487 motor vehicle collisions, killing 92 people and injuring 6,471.

Most people want to feel safe while driving on America’s roads and the last thing they want to do is have to deal with the hassle and frustration of dealing with an accident.

There are steps you can take to protect yourself and your passengers from becoming one of these statistics. One of the most important ways to protect yourself before ever getting behind the wheel is to, “Choose Your Next Vehicle as Though Your Life Depends on it!”

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is an independent, nonprofit scientific and educational organization dedicated to reducing the losses – deaths, injuries and property damage – from crashes on the nation’s roads.

The IIHS performs crash tests and examines the performance of front-crash-avoidance systems. The top performing vehicles are awarded with the IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus award. These vehicles must earn at least an acceptable rating in the small-overlap front-crash test and a good rating in all other crash tests.

In 2015, these vehicles must be equipped with front-crash-prevention technology and also have an automatic emergency-braking (auto-brake) feature that earns a superior or advanced rating in front-crash-prevention.

Not all 2015 vehicles are created equal, some vehicles did not pass the test. If safety is important to you in your next vehicle, take a look at the list below. You may want to add one or more of these vehicles to your new car shopping list.

As always, I highly recommend you begin your new car or truck shopping experience online. This will better educate you on the car buying process and keep you from becoming the victim of any costly car dealer scams.
