The 2015 Jeep Wrangler 4WD 2 door sport’s annual insurance rate of $1,134 makes it the cheapest new vehicle to insure for 2015. Jeep is dominating this year, holding the top two positions and having a total of three different models on the list.

As expected the most common class of vehicle on the most expensive list is sports cars. The most expensive winner for the year is the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo with an average annual rate of $3,574. Porsche, Mercedes-Benz and BMW also make up a large part of the list. just came out with their list, as they do every year, with the top 10 cheapest and most expensive vehicles to insure.

The compiled lists are based on a single male, 40 years old, driving about 12 miles a day with a $500 deductible. He has good credit and a clean driving record. His policy covers $100,000 one person liability, $300,000 all injuries, and $50,000 property damage.Of course, insurance coverage is based on many other factors including how many claims have been filed on the model and the state you reside.
