Top 7 Most Improved New Cars During 2015
About every five years automakers will redesign new car models to keep them modern, fresh and with the times. Sometimes these redesigns are major changes in styling and then other times they're just minor adjustments to something that's still in demand with consumers.
Normally, when a new car goes through a major redesign, car reviewers with major companies jump at the chance to put the vehicle through its paces.
The manufacturer's goal of a major redesign is for the vehicle to get high marks from reviewers, great coverage from the press and cause excitement with new car shoppers. However, it doesn't always work out as planned.
The vehicles below are the top seven redesigned vehicles with the largest jump in rankings with U.S. News and have a large increase in sales based on data between December 2014 through December 2015 from Automotive News.
The number one car on the most improved list is the Kia Sedona, the highly popular minivan was restyled in 2015 and sales have increased over 200 percent in 2015. The Sedona got an interior facelift, additional high-tech features, and a higher safety rating. Kia's minivan has also increased in U.S. News's minivan rankings from seventh place all the way up to third. If you're in the market for a new minivan, make sure the 2016 Kia Sedona is on your shopping list.
The last model produced of the Honda Pilot is a full redesign, the previous vehicle had horrible handling, cheap interior, and a severely underpowered engine. The redesigned Pilot has a more powerful V6 motor, spacious third-row-seat and a spacious luxurious cabin. This helped it gain a 26 percent increase in sales. The Pilot also comes to the table with higher crash test scores in 2016. Honda stepped up its game with the 2016 Honda Pilot and it went from last place to first place in U.S. News's rankings.
The Hyundai Tucson is number seven on the list with a 22 percent increase in sales for 2015. Hyundai redesigned the Tucson giving it a larger cargo area, improved technology, better fuel efficiency, and a more comfortable and quieter ride. The redesign also brings higher safety ratings for 2016. These design changes more the Tucson from the middle of the pack to the top spot of the U.S. News affordable compact SUVs.

Research New Cars Online to Guarantee You Pay the Lowest Price
When negotiating a new car's price, it's important to know the dealer invoice price and what other people are paying for the same vehicle in your local area. Otherwise, you won't know what's a good price to pay for the vehicle. I highly recommend using an online referral service such as CarClearanceDeals or Edmunds, their quotes will automatically include any discounts or cash-back incentives currently available in the marketplace.
