August is a great time to buy a new car. Many automakers are offering low or no interest financing deals to help entice new car shoppers and help dealers clear out their inventory to make room for the 2016 models.
Although it rarely happens, a few manufacturers are offering a low interest rate PLUS a cash back incentive in August. You can see these offers on the list provided to you below.
Each month U.S.News sorts through its mass amount of data to bring us the best new car finance deals and incentives available for the current month. Keep in mind, offers can change without notice, some rebates or incentives may vary depending on the region or area where you live.
If you're in the market for a new sedan, Ford is offering zero percent interest for up to 72 months PLUS $1,000 bonus cash, while Honda is offering 0.9 percent financing on the 2015 Honda Accord for up to five years. Other small cars, like the Nissan Sentra, may be financed for up to six years at zero percent interest as well. If you're more into the "sporty" look, check out the 2015 finance deal on the Mazda Mazda3. Mazda's offering zero percent interest on the Mazda3; however, it's only for a 36 month term.
Retail sales on SUVs and crossovers have been booming in 2015. In attempt to keep the numbers up, automakers have some great deals available. Hyundai has an incredible offer on a brand new 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe. You can ride and drive one for zero percent interest for up to 66 months OR opt take the $2.250 cash back. The 2015 Volkswagen Tiguan has zero percent financing for up to six years for qualified buyers and the 2015 Buick Enclave and 2015 Jeep Cherokee both have zero percent financing for five years. The Cherokee finance deal also includes an additional cash allowance of up to $1,500.
To my surprise, there are no finance incentives on the 2015 Cadillac CTS in August. However, you can get a cash back rebate of $2,000 on a new one. We'll see at the end of the month if General Motor's choice effects their monthly sales. BMW, on the other hand, is offering low interest rates of 0.9 to 1.9 percent for 36 to 72 months depending on which 2015 BMW 3-Series model you choose to purchase.
Never start the negotiation process from the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) or sticker price of a new car. First, determine what the dealer actually paid for the car and then figure a fair profit offer from the dealer's actual cost. When negotiating a new car's price, it’s important to know the dealer invoice price and what other people are paying for the same vehicle in your local area. Otherwise, you won’t know what's a good price to pay for the vehicle. I highly recommend using an online referral service such as Edmunds or TrueCar, their quotes will automatically include any discounts or cash-back incentives currently available.
In addition, the above sites will tell you which dealerships in your local area are currently the most flexible with their new car pricing. These sites provide valuable information for anyone thinking about buying or leasing a new car or truck.
