It's always funny to hear someone say, "I need a bigger vehicle to get my pack of kids and all their gear around town." Then asks them, "why don't you get a minivan, they're big, comfortable and get great gas mileage."
Of course once they hear the word "minivan," every excuse in the world comes up on why they won't be caught dead driving one and then they start talking about buying a SUV or crossover. Come on now, we all know the true reason why you don't want one and it's not true, you'll look cool driving anything!
Minivans are one of the most practical and economical vehicles on the road, especially for larger families. The truth is, people love their minivans, once they own one, they become die hard loyal fans. Not only can you carry a cluster of people around in one you can yank the seats out and haul stuff like dead Christmas trees, bikes, washers, dryers, kitchen tables, chairs or anything else you can cram in there.
U.S. News and World Report has come out with their ratings of the best minivans for 2015. Honda and Toyota are dominating the top two spots with the 2015 Honda Odyssey and the 2015 Toyota Sienna. Number five on the list is the 2015 Mazda Mazda5 which comes in as the most affordable minivan on the market with an average price paid of $21,032 - $24,395.
